Description
The EXOPRO-Ti tap is OSG's latest premium design for processing through holes in Titanium Alloy. Full eccentric relief ensures free cutting while the reverse left hand helix pushes chips forward through the hole for easy chip clearance. The addition of our multi-layered V-coating provides exception wear resistance.
Features & Benefits
Left hand spiral (LHS) Reverese the direction of chip flow out the front of the hole to eliminate chip packing.
Multi-layered TiCN (V) coating from OSG The layered configuration resists thermal cracking while increasing surface hardness to extend life up to 3X vs monolayered TiCN.
Full Eccentric relief Free cutting produces less friction, thereby less heat generation to wear the tap.
